John Hart, Ph.D. received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Fielding GraduateUniversity. He regularly presents nationally and regionally his
research and clinical perspectives on the nature and treatment of
obsessive-compulsive related disorders. Dr. Hart has a wide research interest
and has published a number of articles on anxiety-related disorders. He has
current research affiliations with the Menninger Child and FamilyResearchCenter, Baylor College of
Medicine, Houston OCD Program, and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Dr.
Hart is currently List Adviser to the Parents of Adults with OCD. Dr. Hart is the Director of Research and Professional
Development for The Texas Chapter of the International OCD Foundation and is a
board member of the Peace of Mind Foundation, an advocacy organization for OCD
sufferers. Additionally, he serves as the organizer and facilitator of the Houston
OCD Support Group, a free support group for sufferers of OCD-related problems and their family members.
